Investigation of state-of-the-art adaptive modulation and coding algorithm and implementation of one/some algorithm in MATLAB Simulink

A major requirement of mobile radio communication is to provide the best data rate at given propagation conditions. This requirement are mostly satisfied using adaptive modulation and coding algorithm. Common standards using this approach are: WLAN, LTE, UMTS, etc..
Goal of this project is to create a survey, incl. a detailed description with a comparison of state-of-the-art adaptive modulation and coding algorithm.
Finally, one or more of these algorithms shall be implemented in MATLAB Simulink.

This project is applicable for both B.Eng. and M.Sc. students within the prevailing project phases.
