
Implementation of Turbo Coder in MATLAB Simulink
Channel coding is a significant technology in communication networks to increase the robustness of the transmitted information by adding additional bits.
By using Turbo Coding, the performance is going near to the Shannon limit. For this reason, Turbo coding is used in state-of-the-arts standards, e.g. LTE, WiMAX, etc..
The goal in this project is the implementation of the Turbo algorithm (Encoder and Decoder) in MATLAB Simulink. The results of the implementation shall be verified with known performance analysis from the literature.
This project is applicable for both B.Eng. and M.Sc. students within the prevailing project phases.
